RaceSplitter

Organizers of trail running, mountain biking, ultras and other events are using RaceSplitter to plan and time events, and publish results afterwards. RaceSplitter, along with its companion online service, provides everything to time our event. Easily managing start lists, timing the race, listing the standings, exporting and working with the data & publishing results online. Al Andalus Ultimate Trail is working with RaceSplitter to provide accurate timing and results, and a hands-free experience for the runner. No longer will you dig through your backpack for your timing chip; our timing monitors will record your dorsal number upon arrival. Results will be published daily. TEKO

I like Injinji as a liner but for longer races I also recommend you wear a wool sock over them. TEKO make an excellent Merino wool sock using certified organic wool farming, chlorine-free treatment and the USA factory is wind-powered. The socks have seamless toes, ‘strike-zone’ cushioning, a fitted arch, heel, ankle and cuff, recycled polyester heel and toe for durability and ‘tekoMerino’ wool wicks moisture and regulates body temperature. These excellent socks will be available in the race shop and as prizes.

UK Gear

UK Gear produces specialized footwear for the armed forces. This includes the PT-03Desert, perfect for desert stage races, a winter version for very cold/wet conditions and the PT-1000. This shoe is the toughest, most hard-wearing shoe. The 1000 refers to the 1000 mile minimum life that these shoes are built to cover, and they will do much more than this. This is an ideal shoe for Al Andalus Ultimate Trail and this year UK Gear are generously providing over 1200 euros worth of shoes as prizes.

Mountain King

Mountain King is the UK's leading manufacturer of trekking poles and are generously supplying Trail Blaze poles for the first 3 male and female competitors. We will also be selling them in the race shop and taking pre-orders for collection on arrival.  As a guide, if you are under 178cm/5ft 10in choose the 110cm. Manzanil

The Race is based in the Hotel Manzanil and it will host the Gala dinner.

Poniente de Granada

The Poniente de Granada is an organization which represents and promotes all of the towns and villages of the Poniente de Granada and is giving us their logistical support.

ALCI

The Group ALCI is the Loja Association for trade and industry, there aim is to boost the economic and social development of Loja and its surroundings. They will be supporting the race by providing assorted local products and promotion in the Loja area.
