– Ingrid Peperkamp, Team Herbalife
“Al Andalusia Ultra Trail was a very nice journey. A race with a great organization of people who know what a trail for runners is. Almost no asphalt, just nature, forest, desert, villages, delicious! The enthusiasm, good organization and lots of friendships formed during the run and at the end of the week were a big “loop family! ” The trails are great, nice, heavy, beautiful landscape in the heat of the day. Then nice overnight. A trail that every runner who loves nature and loves the sun on his or her wishes to traverse !”

“A fantastic ultra full of interesting and panoramic challenges. From a warm sun, soothing camp site, local Spanish cuisine, the undulating Andalus mountain course, and of course the awesome atmosphere created by the runners and race organizers. Not to forget mentioning the sympathetic Coventry research team who were there to lend an open ear at the end of a long running day. A well-established and organized ultra that caters to an international field, provides a friendly challenge to those wishing to attempt their first ultra or those wishing to compete.”
Ricardo Costa
“I’m glad I made the right choice in picking Al Andalus Ultimate Trail out of the many options I had! Kudos to the race crew for the fantastic organization, logistics and medical support rendered. The Singapore team felt the warmth of the people and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. It was an enriching and memorable experience for me to run amongst racers from all over the world and all walks of life. The race was tough but it was tougher having the whole experience come to an end !” – Hwee Hoon Khng
“The 2010 AAUT was fantastic. There was an amazing atmosphere around camp, and a course that all the competitors agree was challenging and beautiful. It was one of my favourites to work as a medic due to many things, the great staff, competitors and food to name a few. I’ll be back for sure, and will run one year as well.” – Andrew Murray, Scottland2Sahara
“The public congratulated us with so much fervor at the finish line, happy we had outbraved the Andalusian heat, the long tracks of olive trees, and the arid and semi-desertic lanes which never leave you relaxed.” – Widy Grego (translated)
“Had a great run this year, it was hard when running but so enjoyable once each day was conquered! The Marshalls and support crew were fab !” – Paula Green

“Thanks so much to you and your team for organizing such a fantastic, hard and friendly race. Too many details to have a favorite moment, but sleeping under the stars on the sofa at the shooting club, after thoroughly enjoying the long day, will stay with me for a very long time! I hope to be back next year. Should be an ideal training event for the Diagonal des Fous!” – James McNaught
