The winner of Al Andalus Ultimate Trail 2024 was Michiel Van Der Bauwhede, who completed the 230km race in the best time of 23:11:10 – 6 hours ahead of second place male, Andy Williams, who ran a solid 29:22:46. 3rd place male was Marc Castricum at 30:25:51.
AAUT XV was Michiel’s FIRST TIME winning a stage race and he set the current course record (established in 2021). Excellent!
Daniela Klenk was the overall women’s champion with the winning time of 33:49:10. 2nd female was Andrea Jaeggi at 36:10:12.
Daniela celebrated her 1st ever multi-stage race with a VICTORY. Way to go, Daniela!
